Greetings to family, friends and loved ones, we ask for your support in remembrance of a beloved son, brother, father, grandpa, uncle, friend and so much more. We would like to remember Omar for his smiles, laughter, jokes and happiness that he brought to everyone wherever he went. In December 2024, Omar began to battle Pancreatic Cancer and always fought with a reassuring mindset to provide comfort to his family and loved ones, during this tough time he always made sure to never lose his spirit and his smiles even up until the very end. During the process, Omar always placed his faith in god and with it he was given the strength to live his life to the fullest, so much so that he always made sure to spread his experience and emotions towards the joys of life. My Uncle Omar once asked me, "What is your biggest struggle?" and I told him at the time it was stress and anxiety, and the following is something I will never forget, he said "Never let negativity get to you, being in the hospital room, so many things go through your head, every possibility, every outcome, everything gives you anxiety, and I hated being in there, but then I started to focus on the joys of my life, the second I started to be thankful for what I had is when those fears and anxieties didn't affect me anymore, look around us, we're outside, we have family around us and we have good food too! , I'll always choose this instead of focusing on negative thoughts in a hospital room, this is what life is, this is what gives me happiness, never let anyone put you down or tell you what you can and can't do, out here you are free, do what you want to do and accomplish it" and after hugging him and saying thank you, he told me "I'm happy to be out here with family again" Please have Omar and his family in your thoughts and prayers, we appreciate any and all donations, everything counts and all will provide support to celebrate his life during this tough time. All donations will go towards his services, thank you and god bless. From Omar's social media, a verse he shared, "What we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later."
