Nancy was not only a friend, sister, and daughter, but also a dedicated teacher and mentor to countless students. Her passion for education was palpable, and she found solace and joy in the classroom. Even when illness struck during the school year, Nancy persevered, determined to complete her mission of guiding her students to success. She exemplified kindness and patience in her interactions with everyone, leaving a lasting impact on those lucky enough to know her. Despite being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Nancy chose to continue teaching until her body could no longer keep up, a testament to her unwavering dedication. Nancy's love knew no bounds, and her presence exuded a peaceful energy that enveloped all in her company. Her laughter was infectious, lifting spirits and making the world a better place. As her friend, I recall moments of seeing her tirelessly prepare materials for her classroom and treats for her beloved students. She selflessly gave her all to make a difference in their lives. The burden of hospital and funeral expenses weighs heavily on their hearts during this difficult time.
