From Maile (sister of Michael): My family and I find ourselves in an incredibly difficult situation and we are reaching out to you all for support during this challenging time. On July 2, 2024 we received news that completely changed the dynamic of our family. We were notified of the unexpected death of our sweet Michael. Michael was a loving father, son, and brother. Michael leaves behind his life partner Layla, as well as a son (13) and a daughter (7). He worked hard and touched the lives of everyone he met. To know him was to love him. His death has left us heartbroken and devastated. Funds will go toward Michael’s cremation, transportation of his body to bring him home, & any other expenses that should arise during this difficult time. Thank you
