Hi Family and Friends, We’re heartbroken to notify you of the sad news that my father Marlo Barbero passed away due to a heart condition he has battled this past year. Back in December 2024, Marlo was diagnosed with congestive heart failure (CHF). Congestive heart failure is a long-term condition that happens when your heart can't pump blood well enough to give your body a normal supply. The doctors were able to catch it early on and since then he has undergone medical treatment for the past 7 months. Fast forward to Monday, July 10th, he passed peacefully at one of his second homes where he enjoyed spending most of his time, and that is work. Unfortunately, Marlo was not approved for the limit he wanted for his life insurance. As he was already diagnosed with a heart condition. Those who have known my father, Marlo, would always put others before himself. He wouldn't admit to being tired, but still willing to help others around him to put a smile on their face. One call away, he would drop anything and help regardless of the task. He would always love a challenge, whether it was a big renovation project in our home or repairing a car. He would end up finishing it because he always wanted to do it his way and of course help as much as he could. He loved to use his Jet Ski during the warm summer months traveling from the Scarborough Bluffs to Port Credit. He also enjoyed fishing with his friends when he had free time. Marlo has now left his beloved wife, Arlene. Daughter, Denisse and Granddaughter, Madeline. No words can describe how we're feeling. Anything would help my family during this tough time. We have started a fundraiser to collect funds to help cover the costs of the funeral and other unexpected expenses. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers. With love always, Denisse and Arlene Barbero And the rest of our family
