I created this to help her mother, brother and family to take Coco back to Acapulco so she can rest in peace close to her family where she grew up. Your donations will help with the funeral expenses, and traveling cost. Coco’s mom is asking all her family and friends to keep Coco in your prayers, send her light and to keep her memory alive and close to your heart. In late July at age 36 our beloved friend, sister/brother and son Oscar Samuel Mendoza Galeana, fashion Icon known as Coco Galliana passed away. Coco was well known in the San Diego fashion, music and art industry, influenced many of us with her elegance and creativity. Raised in Acapulco Mexico, Coco moved to San Diego as a kid and resided here til her last days. For many years she channeled herself into make up, hair styling and fashion designing, contributed and collaborated in fashion shows and other events. After years of being out of the loop she still managed to keep inspiring many of us with her fashion statements, sense humor, energy and uniqueness. Coco loved traveling, Haute Couture, Pop culture, music, make up and just anything that empowered us to feel strong and confident. There is sorrow but also forever a profound admiration to her unique sense of style and spirit. Coco was and will always be a true legend. She wasn’t just any person, She was Coco!
