On July 17, 2024, my sister Camille Diana Fitchett received her wings. Camille had been battling diabetes since 2018. In Feb 2019 Camille's lower leg below the knee was amputated due to a sore on her foot in which infection set in and started to spread. After that, the diabetes continued to attack Camille's body. It attacked her heart, and she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure which made it difficult for the heart to pump blood. The CHF is responsible for the fluid in her lungs which made it extremely difficult to breathe even with her oxygen tank. Lastly while undergoing treatment for diabetes, heart failure and lungs Camille's kidneys became damaged and required dialysis. This sweet and humble soul endured so much. On her last and final hospital stay, Camille was placed on a ventilator with a breathing tube because her lungs were so full of fluid and very hard to breathe she was on the breathing tube for 10 days and then a tracheotomy was performed to place a tube in her throat but was unsuccessful in helping her to breathe. This sweet humble soul endured so much and just could not fight anymore. Many of you have expressed a desire to help and I am profoundly humble and grateful for your kindness. I ask for your continued prayers during this difficult time. I have set up this LFEBridge page to help with Funeral/Memorial Service Expenses. Donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated. Memorial Service will be held at Rucker Funeral Home, Decatur, Ga date has not been finalized. Thank you for your prayers, love, and support. With Heartfelt Gratitude, Cylinthia
