It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our friend - beautiful, smart, funny, and lovable Athena Slavin. She brought joy to everyone she knew with her vivacious and energetic nature, and was steadfastly dedicated to the betterment of others and the world. She was violently taken from us in the prime of her life, and is mourned by many, most of all by her young son, Gabe, aged 13. Although we do not know the details of his future, we know that his care would be forefront on his mother’s mind. She was a dedicated and wonderful parent, raising her son on her own, working hard every day of her life to give him a great present and future. Because of this, her friends have set up this fund in order to raise money for his present and future. Any amount helps. All funds will be deposited into an account that has been set up for Gabriels use at the discretion of his guardian.
