My name is Imani Abdur-Razzaaq and I am currently working towards my Eagle Scout rank. To successfully reach this rank and finish my scouting career I must plan and carry out a project that will benefit our community. For my project, I've dedicated myself to making "Bags for Babies" which is a bag holding a variety of materials helpful to women coming out of the NICU with their children. I plan to make 100 bags to highlight the statistic that black infants have an approximately 50% higher rate of preterm birth than non-black infants.
