Hule is a miracle dog. In 2011 she was rescued from Mexico where her owner tried to take her life with a machete. Hule did not want to die. She beat the odds and ended up with a forever home in Canada. Hule has lived a full life since coming to Canada. She has her best dog friend, Oliver and her cat siblings Roxy, Django and Willow. Many people have followed Hule over the years on social media and she has inspired people to adopt dogs in need. Today Hule was rushed to emergency. She spent the night vomiting and was listless this morning. After an evaluation at her vet it was recommended she get to an ER for 24/7 monitoring. It was initially thought to be her heart but the ultrasound shows a gallbladder mucocele and a possible tumor on her adrenal gland. The clinic is trying to find an ICU clinic to do her surgery to repair her gallbladder. The surgery is complicated and expensive. She may not make it out alive but her family wants to give her the fighting chance. She remains in intensive care awaiting next steps.
