Want to join me in making a difference? Hopeful Tails is a non-profit, volunteer based organization based in Joliet, Illinois. Their organization started out with a group of volunteers from another rescue, who wanted to make a larger impact. On October 13th, 2013, the founders met and by November 26th, Hopeful Tails officially became a foster based rescue. Two years after establishment, they relocated to their current location. Hopeful Tail’s goal is to make a difference in the lives of abandoned, abused, and neglected animals, and through their dedication and care, they have been fortunate enough to rescue over 3,000 dogs. In 2018, they were named the Best of Joliet Award in the category of Animal Rescue Service. As Hopeful Tails continues to grow and face new endeavors, they depend on the staff, volunteers, donors and community for support! Amazon Charity Event ORD2 in Channahon IL has partnered with an amazing local animal shelter called Hopeful Tails for the past two years. While donations of time, services and support has been a needed aid, financial support is an addition to the volunteering events that will help transform the state of the facility and more importantly the lives of the animals. We also are currently raising money for one of their major projects: the renovation of their outdoor dog area. The estimated renovation to the exterior dog area will be upwards of $5,000. All proceeds will go directly to the animal shelter. In addition the project, we hope to raise $5,000 ($10k total) more to help alleviate the financial burden of creating a safe, clean, and happy home for all of their dogs!
