It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of a truly special love, My dog Odin, who brought immeasurable joy and love into my life and had to be euthanized due to a very aggressive Cancer diagnosis. Odin was more than just a pet; he was my entire world, he was a member of our family, my best friend, and my source of comfort during some of the worst times of my life. His spirit and genuine love touched the hearts of all who had the pleasure of meeting him. He taught me the true meaning of unconditional love, and his memory will forever be in my heart. The idea of trying to move on in life without him by my side seems impossible and something I cannot comprehend right now. His death was very sudden as we found out he had a very rare from of cancer "Hemangiosarcoma" which is very aggressive and deteriorated his health very quickly. In the matter of days he went from the excitable, happy boy he was to being visibly in pain and discomfort. I am asking for help to cover the unexpected and substantial veterinary bills incurred during his final days. Trying to provide Odin with the best care possible, we spared no expense in seeking out everything we can do to save him. Unfortunately the combined cost of the emergency room visit, diagnostic tests, medications, and the euthanasia procedure has overwhelmed me financially. I am humbled and grateful for the outpouring of love, support and sympathy I have received from those who knew and loved Odin. In my worst time, I am turning to my friends, family and community seeking your generosity to help me relieve this unexpected financial burden. It will allow us to pay off the veterinary bills and find solace in knowing that we provided Odin with the care and dignity he deserved.
