On July 8th, 2024, Dave Walton returned to heaven. His passing was unexpected and sudden, leaving his daughter and family unprepared for such an immense loss. Dave returned to God 33 years sober, and throughout his life he guided countless individuals through their struggles and triumphs with sobriety. He was an impactful force of positivity and strength, and this is an immense loss not only for his family and loved ones, but also those who were mentored by him. Dave has touched so many lives both in and outside of Alcoholic’s Anonymous, and we were all truly lucky to know him. In order to honor Dave Walton’s memory, his daughter Jenni Marie, the love of his life Kelly, and the Alcoholic’s Anonymous community is planning a Celebration of Life event. We appreciate all donations to this fundraiser and all the support for Dave’s family as they continue to grieve. Donations made to this fundraiser will go towards end of life arrangements, for both cremation services and the Celebration of Life.
