“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” Hi, my name is Kristal Moutsanides, my Dad Jerry Garretson tragically lost his life on July 6th at the young age of 62. He was an amazing human being who made such an impact in this life and the lives of so many. His faith was so big and it’s what carried him through his final days. I’m raising money to help support the costs of the funeral services for my Dad, as well as supporting my mom through this unbearable time so she can mourn without the added financial stress. Due to health issues my Dad was unable to acquire life insurance. He was the sole income of the household and spent the last several weeks in the hospital fighting for his life. We were by his side until his very last breath. His presence will be missed dearly. He fought so hard to uphold his promise to his wife Shelly, the promise that he would never leave her. That and his faith is what kept him pushing forward when he was slowly losing the battle. I want to honor my Dad by doing everything I can to help ease the pain and burden of this unimaginable tragedy. My dad was everything you could ever want in a father and husband. His strength and zest for life was contagious. He had a love and mind for health and nutrition. He loved muscle cars and in his younger years he built and raced them. Being around family was his happiness. Our time with him was way too short and there are things we will never understand, but in due time we will be reunited. Donations will go directly to the costs of services and mortgage payments for my Mom. Prayers for my family are also welcome.
