Hello, we are raising funds for my father, Henry Vang, who recently passed away on August 3rd. He was better known in the Hmong community as Vaam Hawj Vaaj. A great man in life, he loved God, and his family. Henry was born in Laos, and met his wife Mao there. Together they had 11 beautiful children. He was always a pillar of every Christian community he was a part of. No matter where Henry lived, he became a leader of the Hmong Christian community. Always willing to lend a hand to his fellow church members, he would often go out of his way to be a good friend. From his early young rock days to his humble church days, Henry was a great man of music, and loved to play many instruments. Henry was always a stoic man, strong and dependable. Despite this, he was also charismatic, and everyone he met loved him. Anyone who knew him personally can attest to his great character, and will tell you a story of his selfless service. A great man in life, he will be missed in death. A father, a son, a husband, a musician, a lover, and a fighter; he was all these things and more. We will miss him.
