Hi everyone! My name is Maigen and I am Michael’s mom. Michael has been wakeboarding since he was 4 years old and recently started riding with a Jr. Pro wakeboarder here in Arizona where he got introduced to tournaments! He went to the WWA Regional tournament at the beginning of June in Utah and got 1st place by more than 20 points! He is going to the WWA National tournament from July 27-30 in Georgia and then has the WWA WORLD tournament in Portugal the last week of August. Michael has been putting so much time and dedication into practicing and being the best he can be! He goes to Gymnastics 2-3 days a week and spends a minimum of 15 hours a week on the lake behind the boat giving it his absolute all! Not to mention the hours of wakeboard videos he watches to get tips. As you can imagine, these trips are not cheap, between flight, boarding, registration, gear, food etc. any little bit would help tremendously! This would help Michael continue to grow in this wakeboard world and allow us to see where all this can take him.
