Hi, my name is Tre and I’m raising funds to help cover the costs of registration fees for an upcoming year of select baseball. I was super excited to hear that I was offered a spot on a 12U select baseball team that I recently tried out for. It is my ultimate dream and aspiration to play professional baseball when I get older. I have loved playing little league baseball since the age of 5 and now I’m looking to take it to the next level by playing for a select team that trains year round and plays in multiple tournaments throughout the year. I was thrilled to receive an email saying I got an offer to be on a team. Then reality set in once we discovered just how expensive select and travel teams actually costs!! It’s unfortunate that, a lot of the time, opportunities like these are unattainable and just not equitable for kids who look like me and BIPOC kids who don’t have the financial means to cover the outrageous costs. So here is where I need some support from my community of family and friends to help make this dream a reality. Any donation amount, big or small will be so incredibly helpful and appreciated. All money raised will go directly to registration costs, uniform and new equipment needed. My mom and I say thank you in advance for supporting me along this journey!!
