Beautiful 7 year old Ivy has special needs from neurological damage after an accident. We, as Second Chance For Cats (N.E. Wales) have managed to find someone to look after Ivy and she is now in long term foster in very caring and capable hands. Ivy will incur regular vet bills as she is being given monthly Solensia injections for arthritis in the affected joints, which will cost £70 per month. Ivy also suffers incontinence and has inflammation in her bladder, which is likely stress induced Feline Idiopathic Cystitis. We are giving her all the appropriate supplements to help her bladder health, which again is costly. Ivy is such a sweet affectionate girl and we owe it to her to understand her neurological problems to make sure she’s comfortable and not in any pain. To do this, she desperately needs an MRI scan. We have been able to find a referral vet who will be able to do do this for around £1500. An MRI will help us and the vets understand where the nerve damage is and whether anything can be done to help, or if not, how best to support her to ensure she stays happy and comfortable. This is going to cost more money than we ever have, so please help us to help this beautiful girl get the correct diagnosis and treatment that she needs. We can’t give up on her while she still has a chance to enjoy her life. Any amount will be much appreciated to help us fund an MRI scan for sweet Ivy.
