It has been an amazing year on the track for Ryan Jr. This past weekend at Regionals in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Ryan competed in the 400m dash and placed 1st in the 13-14-year-old division. He also qualified with 4th place finishes in the 100m and 200m (all three personal bests). Prayer, dedication, hard work, and discipline resulted in his qualifying for the 2024 USA Track and Field Junior Olympics (JO). This year’s USATF Junior Olympics is being held in Eugene OR at the new Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon. While we are so proud of his accomplishment the expense is more than we anticipated. Because he qualified in 3 events and the distance is so far, we went from what we thought would be a three-day stay to a seven-day one. Any amount, big or small, will help on Ryan's journey.
