Hello Everyone, My name is Scarlett, but my teammates call me Tigger, a nickname I earned during lockdown for continuously bouncing up and down on my air track during our Zoom training sessions! I'm a 13-year-old cheerleader who is extremely passionate about this sport. For the past 6 years, I've been a proud athlete of the Top Gun AllStars cheerleading programme, formally known as Zodiac Allstars. I've dedicated myself to mastering the role of "flyer," a position that's both thrilling and challenging. I train 2-3 times a week and work on my flexibility every day, doing everything I can to be the best team member possible. Cheerleading started as a fun way to make friends but has grown into a vital part of my life. I love to compete, and I've had the privilege of participating in multiple UK competitions, earning national and grand champion titles. Last year, I was part of the team that triumphed at The Bahama Royale "Ultimate Bahama Cheercation". The victory was a dream come true and further fired up my ambition. Now, I have the unique opportunity to compete at two of the most prestigious cheerleading events in the world—the NCA All-Star National Championships in Dallas, Texas, and the Summit 2024 Championships in Florida. To take part in these life-changing championships and represent my team Shadow, on such a grand stage, I'm aiming to raise £3250. This fund will cover my travel expenses, including flights, accommodation, as well as my Summit entry fees. I have also successfully applied for a job in a lovely local tea room’s ‘Arlington Tea Gardens’ and all my wages will be put towards my trip. Being a cheerleader has taught me the true meaning of determination and resilience and I continue to push my boundaries. Now, I'm asking for your help to continue my journey, to leap towards my goals, and to bring pride to all who have supported me.
