As many of you know, my sweet Truman was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma, which has metastasized to his chest. We are making the most of our remaining time together, and now his lil sister is facing an emergency that I am not equipped to handle financially.I've spent nearly $500 to determine that my 8 year old golden, also a rescue pup, has a blockage. The vet recommends an ultrasound to confirm the location and nature of the blockage. That will cost about $350. After that, surgery will be required. I don't have a solid estimate on the cost of surgery yet, so I have set my goal based on others' experiences with similar surgery. I promise that if there are any excess funds after the surgery, I will put them toward helping other rescue dogs in need.Time is of the essence, so I'm hoping to raise $350 for the ultrasound before Monday and the balance within 2 weeks.I love animals. I'm hoping that all my efforts to help rescues and lost dogs over the years will come back to me to help my baby. I could not bear to lose them both.
