More information about Day Dreams Farm Therapy and Rescue: Day Dreams Farm is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization with over 20 years of experience providing life-saving care to horses suffering from abuse and neglect. We take the worst cases and provide comfort, care, and if necessary, a humane end to suffering. We accept owner surrenders, animal control cases, and engage in rescuing horses from the auction pipeline to save them from the slaughter trucks. We rescue equines, including horses, mules, or donkeys that are in imminent danger from ending up in the kill pen or being slaughtered. We rehabilitate their bodies and their minds and adopt them to new homes where they get a second chance at a great life. We help people by assisting and educating horse owners and potential horse owners about the responsibility of horse ownership, breeding, and the problem with overpopulation of horses in the United States. We are dedicated to transforming lives of children and adults from all walks of life whether they are disadvantaged in some way, either emotionally or physically or people who just want to learn to be better and more compassionate human beings through the touch and interaction of an animal.
