Hi, I am raising funds for a dog I found outside Friday morning in Harlem, He is estimated to be a 2-year-old intact male Pitbull with a huge sweetheart weighing 62 pounds, who was just left outside in the cold/ rain. He was lethargic and dumpy without any indication of injury besides his left leg slanted. He was brought to a vet and they did in-house lab work, urinalysis, 4 xrays and an Ultrasound of the abdomen - it was found that there was a corn cobb stuck in his intestine and it needed to come out asap as it could be life-threatening. Luckily the vet was able to do the surgery the same day and he would then need to be transferred to an emergency facility where they would have to watch him overnight to make sure he is eating and having boul movements. His care is still pending until the in-house critical team can look at him in the morning for further treatment and confirm any risks that it might pose in the future. He is currently in ICU getting fluids and pain medicine. We are being told this is going to be $5k-$10K for surgery and post-op care. If you can afford it, we would greatly appreciate your help in getting this good boy back to good health.
