Kora is a 6 year old girl who loves horses and loves showing horses. This past weekend (July 14-16 2024) Kora and her very special horse, Pixie, helped represent the miniature horse breed at a special horse event in Lexington Kentucky. While getting ready for their demonstration on Sunday, Pixie suddenly passed away. She was not old or sick. The attending vet took Pixie to perform a necropsy but unfortunately will only let Pixies body be returned to Kora if Pixie is cremated which costs $1000. Please help this little girl bring her pony home. All I can say is wow! Everyone has been so generous, I can't express how much you all are appreciated. This morning I found out that Breyerfest has generously offered to pay the entire bill. If you would like your money back let me know and I'll get you taken care of. I'm going to change the fundraiser, Kora's dream is to have a driving horse, the family can't afford one so I would like to try and buy her one. I know Pixie can't be replaced but I do know Kora has a big hole in her heart ready to be filled with a new mini to love. . So this Go Fund Me is evolving over time. I have a trainer willing to donate training and a several horses with the perfect temperament for a child. I now just need a bit more to help make Koras dream of having a driving horse a reality. How awesome would it be if something so horrible as loosing Pixie right in front of her eyes turned into something so wonderful? Again, can't thank you enough for all the donations. I am so grateful for everyone's generosity and support. We have had a show harness and cart donated. We have found Kora a wonderful mini gelding who has show experience, is broke to drive and kid safe. I raised to needed amount because a mini like that is not cheap, the wonderful owner is working with us on the price, and we will have to pay someone to get him to Tennessee. Every penny gets us closer to making Kora's dreams come true. Thank you so much!
