If we’ve met at all in the last two years, it’s likely adaptive mountain biking (aMTB) came up in conversation. A little over two years ago, I got my own bike and it has absolutely changed my life. In those last two years, I’ve biked more than 1,000 miles. I’ve biked across NH, to the top of the Mt. Washington Auto Rd, attended bike festivals in ME, VT, NH and NY and most importantly, found the mountain biking community to be the most inclusive and welcoming group of people I’ve ever met. As my riding has progressed, I‘ve learned so much about my bike, including that I’m really out riding a bike with only rear suspension. I am fundraising for the cost of a full suspension adaptive mountain bike which is around $22,000. Ideally, I would love to raise that full amount to allow me to pass my current bike on to its next owner entirely free. This bike changed my life and I would love to be able to pass that forward to someone else, without them having to worry about getting grants or fundraising. I hope you’ll support me on my mission to keep rolling in the dirt!
