Hi everyone, I have been selected by my Japanese teacher to be able to go to Japan for 2 weeks next September, I have been working really hard to achieve this and if anyone knows me I have struggled a lot through school and now that I have the proper diagnoses for dyslexia and ADHD and now on medication, I can achieve what I am wanting which I am so very proud of how far I have come. learning Japanese means a lot to me eg. as I struggled for years to be able to tell the time in English but I was able to first learn the time in Japanese and then in English, I think it's because they use symbols and we don't. I can also write and speak Japanese I got extremely high marks on my last report card for Japanese and I'm very interested in learning more and being able to go overseas to Japan would mean the world to me. there are not a lot of children that have been picked for this so it is a great opportunity for me. Any amount will help, however, the first payment for this to secure my spot is by the end of this term, in 4 weeks we need to put a $1000 deposit down and then the rest is due before September next year the total is $4500 plus spending money. I will also be trying to do what I can between now and then to help raise the money. I would love to be able to go on this amazing excursion with the school to learn more about the people and their culture also it's a fantastic opportunity to further any future career prospects. please help me get there by donating and sharing this around for me any help would be greatly appreciated.
