Hi, my name is mason I am 13 years old. In July 2025 I will be travelling to Kenya, where I will be volunteering in a developing school, to help much less fortunate children than myself. Whilst I am there, I will help teach children and build a community school. These schools provide education, health and food security and social support to young people who cannot easily access these basic services. I’ve been given this opportunity through African adventures foundation, they help by funding food security programmes, construct necessary school facilities and run hygiene projects. Their aim is to give more children an education, to provide them with more opportunities in life. This trip costs £2,800. I have paid the £195 deposit out of my own money. I am hoping to raise at least half of this. A part of the money raised will also go towards school and sports equipment, which I will be taking with me. I’m not very keen on exercising, so to show my gratitude, for every £1 I get sponsored I will walk/run/cycle that far in km, eg £10 =10km, I would be really grateful if you could sponsor me.
