Update: Lucy was diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately has lost her battle. my sister in law is losing her best friend. She will be home with family for her last few days. They are making her as comfortable as possible and giving her anything she can/will eat and giving her all the kisses. Thank you all for your generous donations and prayers. I love you all! Update: At this point the vet doesn’t really know what is wrong with Lucy. She’s had no real improvement. She is at the hospital still on fluids and a bunch of different meds. They just changed her meds yesterday in hopes that she will start to improve. She is still yellow and no appetite even on appetite stimulants. if no improvement by this afternoon she will undergo a few more tests and a possible biopsy of her liver. Please pray my baby doesn’t have cancer . #bringlucyhome To say that my sister in law has had a rough year is an understatement. I won’t go into details but she had to undergo a lot of financial struggles while caring for her two young children. Recently her fur baby, side kick and best friend Lucy became severely ill. She was not eating, vomiting, lethargic and in a lot of pain. After numerous tests and visits to the vet she was diagnosed with hepatitis and pancreatitis. Lucy spent a couple of nights at the vet to receive iv fluids and antibiotics. She was then sent home hoping she would make a speedy recovery. Unfortunately Lucy is still not eating and is lethargic and in a lot of pain. Today she had to admit Lucy to the vet again for an unknown amount of time. Lucy is the sweetest most loyal dog and we are all praying for a full recovery. Unfortunately she has a long road ahead of her. As you can imagine the vet bills are piling up and at this time in her life she is financially unable to pay for these large vet bills. Any amount of donations and prayers would be greatly appreciated for Lucy.
