Hello everyone, We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts to share the story of Kuma, the beloved furry family member of the Rice family. Over the past week, Kuma's health has taken a severe turn for the worse despite receiving multiple treatments. He is no longer eating, even refusing his favorite treats like peanut butter, and appears visibly unwell. The vet bills have skyrocketed, and the family is rapidly running out of options. For those who know Kuma, you know how much love he has to give and how he always has a smile on his face. Witnessing him in this broken state is absolutely heartbreaking, and the family is fighting tooth and nail to keep him pain-free and by their side for as long as possible. Today, Kuma underwent initial imaging, and the results have raised major concerns about the protein levels in his urine and the thickness and swelling of his bladder wall. To explore potential bladder cancers, masses, or tumors, Kuma will be visiting a specialist tomorrow for further treatment, ultrasounds, and sampling from the bladder wall. As you can imagine, the veterinary expenses are accumulating rapidly, and the Rice family needs all the support they can get during this trying time.
