Hi, I'm Kozmo! I'm a queer trans nuyorican based in LA. I'm an artist and crafter, as well as a professional cook! I've always had a passion to help take care of others and I believe I've found the career that allows me to do just that. I tell my pals that if I hadn't pursued a career in art, I'd get into healthcare. And while it's been a long hard road, I've realized that creating and crafting are more meaningful and valuable to me as hobbies. After lots of introspection and searching, I've come to learn that Phlebotomy is what I really want to do. Phlebotomy has always fascinated me. I have this early vivid memory of panicking before getting jabbed and the phlebotomist calming me down, showing me how they drew blood. They were very patient and open with me, and it helped immensely! I've never panicked after that exciting experience and I honestly look forward to getting my blood drawn to this day, haha. It's fun to watch! Funds will be put towards earning my Certified Phlebotomy Technician license. Registration and enrollment fees, tuition for the 2 week training course, equipment, books, and materials, the state exam and transportation.
