Help Jupiter come home :) Jupiter was rescued a while back by the same wonderful rescue that brought us our other sweet seniors from the Dominican Republic, first Clyde, and Deanna who we tragically lost at the end of 2024. They also brought us Kiwi and Bean. Bean sadly was only with us for 18 days, she had a very aggressive cancer called Hemangiosarcoma. When Bean passed I made a promise to save another sweet soul from the DR in her memory, Jupiter. He is a very sweet old man who is missing an eye and almost blind in the remaining eye. Because of his age and his appearance, he has been patiently waiting but there has been no one interested in adopting him. We have already started the expensive and timely paperwork with the CDC to get him to the US, now we just need your help in getting him the rest of the way of the way home to us. In full transparency, the costs required by the CDC (on CDC.gov) are: Vaccines $35, Microchip $35, Zoonotic Certificate $75, Health Certificate $80, Rabies Certificate $27, Rabies Titer Certificate $350, Airport Fees $10, Plane Ticket $150, Travel Carrier $40, Chaperone Plane Ticket $800 = $1602. We are asking for a few dollars more so when he gets here he can get checked out by our vet as well. Please help us give Jupiter the same chance that Clyde, Deanna, Kiwi and Bean have/had. Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Happy Tails Rescue Retirement Home, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. More information about Happy Tails Rescue Retirement Home: Save senior dogs www.HTRRH.org
