Jonathan is a wonderful, positive guy who is committed to working in social care - he helps me provide a safe and caring home for someone with autism. Just two weeks ago, Jonathan and his wife Adelaide were filled with joy, looking forward to the birth of their baby girl in October, whom they had already named Michaela. However, Adelaide started to feel unwell and tragically, within just 9 days, first their unborn daughter, and then she died. Adelaide had an aggressive form of cancer - she was 29 years old. Adelaide has also left behind two little boys, aged just 2 and 5. They still live in Cameroon and live with their grandparents. Adelaide - a qualified Physics teacher who was studying for her Master's in Education Studies - and Jonathan were hoping to be able to save up to bring the boys over to the UK. I have set this page up because Jonathan simply has no funds to fly home to Cameroon with Adelaide, so that she can be laid to rest, surrounded by her loving family. Jonathan has been informed that it may cost around £5,500 to repatriate Adelaide. His airline ticket is likely to be in the region of £1,800 to £2,000. I know times are tough for many of us, but please, if you can spare a donation towards these costs, I'd really be so grateful.
