Hi everyone, I’m Laura and I’m fundraising for the sweetest pup, Jace, and most incredible dog parents Kellin and Josh. Not long ago, Kellin and Josh said goodbye to their boy Jake. However, being the wonderful people they are, when a puppy in need came up on Facebook, Josh and Kellin took him in. Jace is 10 months old and didn’t have the best start to life. Chained outside with no access to shelter and minimal food, efforts were made to find Jace a new home and Kellin and Josh stepped up. Jace was loving his new start and the opportunity to just be a goofy, lovable puppy. Unfortunately, only a few days after he was home, Jace became lethargic and very sick. Josh and Kellin immediately made an appointment at emergency where Jace was diagnosed with parvo, a highly contagious virus that is life threatening for dogs and VERY costly to treat. They were sent to Buffalo and Jace was admitted to the hospital for treatment on Thursday. While Jace’s clinical signs have been improving, there have been a few setbacks due to life as an outdoor dog. Josh and Kellin are pouring their hearts, souls, and bank accounts into getting him well. Hospitalization is about $2,000/day and Jace is scheduled for other diagnostics and possibly surgery. If you know Josh and Kellin at all, you know how much their dog(s) mean to them and what a wonderful life they give their dogs.
