If you know Ingrid, you know what she loves more than anything... Swimming. She's been committed to and passionate about this sport since her very first swim meet when she was five years old. This past weekend at CT Senior Championships, Ingrid's hard work and dedication (unexpectedly) qualified her for the 2024 Summer Junior National Championships in Irvine, California. This is a really big deal for Ingrid, and it's also an opportunity of a lifetime. While we have been celebrating this impressive accomplishment, we also face a significant challenge because flying across the country to a 5-day swim meet in California was not anticipated this summer and the meet starts in less than three weeks and runs from Monday, July 31st to Friday August 4th. Time is of the essence, and we are in need of financial support to cover the following costs to attend the meet: airfare (for Ingrid and me) $1093 hotel (5 nights) $1345 rental car $244 tech suit $599 spectator tickets $130 meet entry fees $80 food $300 TOTAL COST TO ATTEND THE MEET: $3,791 I hope you'll consider making a donation to help Ingrid achieve her goal of making it out to California to compete alongside some of the best swimmers in the country.
