Who could ever ask for a better friend than Hans Vollmer! He was such an amazing, compassionate man with one of the biggest hearts you could imagine. His passing has left us all at a loss, especially his animals. He couldn't turn away from an animal in need, which is how he ended up with 8 dogs and 1 cat. And his babies are in need again. Silkie, Veda, Hope, JJ, Plato, Brutus, Coco, Luna, and Fritz are not only missing their papa, but were left homeless. Luckily, we have been able to find a permanent place for Plato, Fritz, and Luna and a temporary place for Hope and Silkie, but the others, JJ, Coco, Veda, and Brutus still need your help. We managed to find a no-kill shelter in Colorado that could take them but to get them there would be $1000 in transportation costs plus the cost of having them all vetted and heartworm tested. Many of us have been working to get whatever needs to be done completed but the price is overwhelming for us and we need some help! We ask that if you are willing and able, donate whatever you can towards helping these dogs escape the horrible shelter they are currently in to a safe environment. As much help as Hans has always given in his life, he really needs your help now. Please, please, please don't let his beloved babies perish in an overpopulated county shelter.
