Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers, I write to you today with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My dear best friend, Christina's, family has been struck by an unimaginable tragedy, as they recently lost their beloved father unexpectedly. The sudden loss has left them devastated, both emotionally and financially. I am reaching out to you, friends and family, our community, to lend a helping hand in their time of need. Christina and Jeremys' father, Terry, was a pillar of strength, love, and guidance for his family. Terry was the absolute best dad to Christina and Jeremy and an even greater grandfather to Lleyton. Terry had a smile that would light the room right up and a kind heart to help anyone in time of need. Unfortunately, fate dealt Christina, Jeremy, and Lleyton an unfathomable blow as he passed away, leaving behind no will or financial provisions. As a result, the family is now burdened with overwhelming expenses, including memorial services to honor their father's life and lawyer fees to navigate the legal complexities arising from the lack of a will. My goal is to alleviate the immediate financial strain faced by Christina and Jeremy. In lieu of flowers, your generous donations will provide them with the means to arrange a proper and dignified memorial service in Orlando ensuring that they have the opportunity to say their final goodbyes and find solace in honoring their father's memory. But also allowing Christina and Jeremy to have a funeral in Ohio, where Terry can be laid to rest alongside his parents; something that Terry always wanted. Additionally, the funds raised will enable them to secure legal assistance, cover travel expenses to allow the goodbyes Christina, Jeremy, and Lleyton deserve, a cushion to alleviate the monetary stress from work missed due to grief and traveling. I want more than anything for Christina and Jeremy to have the time to heal without creating more of a financial burden. Most importantly, giving Lleyton the full undivided attention of his mom and uncle to help him understand, grieve, and mend his heart from the loss of his Pap. In times of tragedy, we as a community can rally together to extend a helping hand to those in need.
