UPDATE** Freddy’s surgery was a Success but he will have a long road to recovery. We are still not sure what really happened but our other theory is that he could have been chasing a groundhog on the farm and caught his leg in its hole with enough momentum to break the leg and send him into a compost pile and get impaled by a branch. He has a large hole on the right side of his chest and a severely broken left leg. No internal damage or broken ribs so it really doesn’t seem consistent with a vehicle imo. Hi everyone, on August 1st my best friend Freddy came running home through the field covered in blood and in distress, We are not 100% sure what happened but it seems that he was struck by a car from what the doctors say. Freddy is not a wanderer and stays clear of roads so it must have happened on the dead end street behind our house with a speeding vehicle. This LFEBridge is to help relieve the costs of a very expensive surgery for not only a dog but a very important member of my family. Freddy was left without any internal issues but has many broken bones, and his front right leg was shattered and will need the surgery.
