Hi all!As you know, Eugene has been through a lot:1. Diagnosed with a rare and aggressive tumour - central giant cell granuloma2. First operation at Rainbow Equine hospital to debulk the tumour, which meant a little bit of jaw was removed due to it being necrotic, and placement of a chemo therapy bead in the tissue 3. Course of steroid injections into the mandible 4. Second operation at Rainbow as the tumour returned - debulking of the tumour and partial lower mandible removal. No tissue available for further chemo beads5. Course of steroid injections into the mandible6. Tumour returned and we decided to stop the steroid injections. Started researching for a final Hail Mary 7. Worked with Donaldsons Vets and Cancer Care for Pets to try electrochemotherapy which involves sending electric shocks into the tumour after having an IV of bleomycin chemotherapy 8. Second round of ECT - tumour has gone!9. Sadly the tumour returned and we thought this would be the end and his oncologist agreed that no further treatment would be in his best interest. But then the tumour began to shrink on its own! 10. Consult with his oncologist who says it seems like the ECT has damaged the cells of the tumour causing it to grow to a certain point and then shrink again. He says he would be happy to do another round or two of ECT when it comes to it! So now we are asking for your help again to raise funds for when that time comes for Eugene to have further treatment. You can see his previous fundraiser here: https://gofund.me/b63f5c6e Please follow Eugene on Instagram to keep up to date with his journey! https://instagram.com/the_goats_that_cud?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA== You can see parts one and two of Eugenes ECT here https://instagram.com/p/CucGvs9KPhh/  https://instagram.com/p/CucHLxDqkOu/
