Chartered in April 2024, UK Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is hard at work establishing a local presence to serve the community and deliver social action campaigns. Your individual contribution of £25, £50 or £100 will help speed up this important work, offsetting some initial chapter set-up fees (IT support, community event venue rental) and primarily supporting our upcoming volunteer activities in underserved areas, including: Food bank drive - to help eliminate food poverty at a time when the cost of living crisis is forcing families to choose between basic needs. HIV awareness campaign - to educate young people on the risks and help slow down rising cases in our communities. Financial literacy - to help close the significant wealth gap. International Women’s Day forum - Partnering with healthcare experts to promote wellness and enable women to make positive health changes.
