***UPDATE 8/6*** Dog’s new name is Chance (to have a second chance at life). Sadly, we just learned the poor guy has cancer in his bones, and needs surgery to remove it. Botflies also ate through his skin, which explains the limp. The contributions from the community have been amazing and unbelievably generous, but we’re stretching the goal to help Danny and Kim as vet expenses for this surgery will be astronomical. Please help us spread the word, and hope for a miracle here. Much love to you all! ————— If you live in Mountain House and follow the FB pages, you likely would have seen this story about a German Shepherd running around Questa & College Park for the past 2 weeks. He was likely dumped, and no one was able to approach him to help. Danny Vales & Kim were able to save this dog on the evening of 8/4 and graciously took the dog in. Danny says he may have found a new fur best friend. :) Saving a dog off the streets comes with a lot of responsibility and expenses. I’m setting this LFEBridge up for our community to help chip in for vet bills and any supplies Danny and Kim may need to care for this dog, as he’s being taken in with an injured back leg. Any amount helps and would be greatly appreciated. Let’s show them some support so this German Shepherd can have a second chance at life in a loving home.
