Bella, our beloved dog, faced a heartbreaking challenge when her hind legs became paralyzed and vet wanted to euthanize her to end her pain. We discovered a life-changing surgery that could restore her mobility and saver her life, but it came with a price tag of CA$15,000. Bella suddenly paralyzed last night on July 12, 2024 at 2 am. We immediately were referred to neurology in Montreal DMV Veterinary Hospital, where the closest MRI was. The neurologist said she is suffering from Stage V IVDD and there is a chance of 50% recovery if we do surgery. Otherwise they want to euthanize her to end her pain. I cannot afford it so I opened this page. Can you please help us? I adopted her when she was only 40 days old when she was a baby in Turkey. I was just a college student back then. She was there for me at every step of the way. I moved to Canada, and of course, she came with me. She met with grasses, squirrels, and geese in here. She loved chasing squirrels but never hurt them. In fact, she never hurt anybody in her life. People nicknamed her helicopter because of her never ending tail wagging. She was always told that she is the happiest dog that anyone has ever encountered. We do not want to see her go. She is supposed to be 5 years old at August 23,2024. She is still in neurology department of Montreal DMV clinic. Please help us to get back the sunshine of our lives. With every contribution, Bella's chances of undergoing the surgery will grow closer to reality. If the operation succeeded and Bella took her first steps, she will defy the odds and embracing a future filled with possibilities. Your support can make a difference in Bella's life, giving her the opportunity to run, play, and live without limitations. Join us in this inspiring journey of hope, as together, we help Bella find her way back on her feet.
