Hi, my name is Luz Barrera, I am Antonia Barrera's niece. Unfortunately, my Madrina/Godmother passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2024, due to complications from an illness. Although my Madrina/Godmother Antonia had a life-long struggle with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis her passing was unrelated and unexpected -our family was completely unprepared for this. She leaves behind her mother, husband, 3 children (Jesus, Princess and Urbyn), 4 grandchildren and many family members and friends in mourning. My Madrina/Godmother Antonia was a guerrera (a warrior), took all of her obstacles in stride, was a loving mother and grandmother, a kind and generous soul, always helping others, if anyone ever needed a favor she never said no. She was the best mother, grandmother, Godmother, sister, friend and everything someone could ask for. She will be missed dearly. I humbly ask If you can spare anything our family would be forever grateful, and please keep us in your prayers. Although the world will change from year to year and our life day to day, and perhaps time will heal a bit of the pain, the memories will never fade. The love for our beloved Antonia shall never pass.
