Angus has been selected for the 2024 Indoor Cricket Junior World Series in Dubai and we need your help to get him there Angus represented Western Australia at the Indoor Cricket National Championships U18 Boys in 2024, and in 2024 debuted in the Open Mens in addition to competing in the U18 Boys. At last year’s National Championships in Victoria, Angus and his WA Western Wolves teammates went into the Grand Final undefeated and unfortunately lost to Victoria. The boys shed a few tears as they consoled each other over the loss to come home with the Silver Medal. During the presentations, Angus was surprised and proud to be awarded “Player of the Series” and selected for the U18 Boys All Star Team. The 2024 National Championships were held in Ipswich, QLD, and this time the boys were hungry for Gold! Going into the Grand Final, Queensland was undefeated while WA had lost by 3 runs to QLD in the Major Final. It was a real nail-biter of a game with Western Wolves winning by 1 run on the second-last ball of the match, securing the boys their Gold! Angus was awarded the Grand Final “Player of the Match” and was very proud to be selected for the Australian U18 Boy’s team along with three of his WA teammates. They are to compete in the 2024 Indoor Cricket Junior World Series held in Dubai. Participation in this event is fully self-funded and the finalised cost is $6700. Any contribution to support Angus and this amazing opportunity to represent Australia in Dubai will be greatly appreciated.
