Hi guys we are doing a fundraiser for our daughter Alina Sluder. Those of you that know her know softball is life for this girl. She is coming off of a recent meniscus injury that required surgery and an extensive therapy to be back playing. We are hoping she will be cleared after being off four months in early September. She has been invited by coach Tom Heigham from America’s Team and Lyndsey Lipscomb from Vernon College in Australia in the Down Under Games next summer 2024. These two coaches are assembling a team from all over the United States and Alina is one of them chosen. They found her through a program she is in called NCSA (Next College Student Athlete). This program is crucial for high schoolers wanting to attend a college and play a NCAA sport. They pay thorough attention to grades, attendance, and skills. Alina has been working hard in school maintaining a 4.0 and playing high school ball and travel ball. Alina is really wanting to attend this experience, she is looking to broaden her skills in every aspect possible and the level of playing is getting harder and stronger for girls especially in high school level. She has been putting in work both in school and the field. Expenses will cover her travel, hotel, food, game fees, and the coaches will be taking the girls on multiple experiences in Australia. The girls will be playing in Sydney and Brisbane. Anything helps for this experience, please if you can anything helps us help get her there. Thank you for reading and supporting Alina. Please share this post help spread the word.
