LFEBridge
DONATE

My brother died today. He was a quiet, happy and peaceful person. Wednesday morning, he suffered a massive stroke. As of writing this, what little bit of his brain that survived the stroke has faded. He was only 30 years old. His name was Shane, online he went by SquallWhatever, or Squall. Upon informing his friends online, we saw that people asked if there was some way they could help out/contribute to make this process a bit easier. As such, we've set this up. Our wishes in forming this LFEBridge are that we can all mourn losing a member of our family without the significant financial burden that flying family/friends out, giving them places to stay, and eat tends to incur. The beneficiaries are myself (his brother), my sisters, his mother, his father, and his biological father, as well as my sisters' partners. If you want to know what kind of person Shane was, he was a goofball. He was someone that loved comedy, and lived his life between pop culture quotes. Whose Line, Psych, Family Guy, Tommy Boy. He was someone that loved playing video games more then anything. He loved Kingdom Hearts, he loved Gears of War, Final Fantasy. He loved a challenge. He participated in Kingdom Hearts 2 randomizer tournaments, and was damn good at them. He was never self-serious, and you couldn't possibly accuse him of having an ego. When our Dad had a major health crisis February of last year, he didn't hesitate to make his way to him, despite being over a thousand miles away. The best way to know who he was is to go to his twitter account and look at his post history. You'll see his love of games, you'll see his silly sense of humor. He strived in the National Guard, and loved his time serving. In bootcamp, they called him "Private travel sized". Even in his final moments, he was conscientious, kind, calm, and collected. The doctors were impressed with his candor considering his condition. In short, Shane was a badass, and a goofball, and he will be missed. Any and all contributions will be appreciated. Thank you.
