My name is Lainey Johnson. I am a senior at Cleveland State’s film school. I love to laugh and tell stories that make me happy. For my thesis project, I’m planning to direct an adaption of my story Heisting. Heisting is a story that does just that. It follows two characters who feel overlooked and underappreciated. Foremost, it’s the story of a friendship that is made through these shared feelings and the hijinks they get up to. This story has been with me for a long time and I’m so excited for the opportunity to bring it to life. For this to come to fruition, the support and donations come a long way. All funds made on this film will go towards locations, props, wardrobe, catering, and film distribution. Any support will bring this film one step closer to being recognized.
