My father, Frank Triplett, passed away April 21, 2012, over 11 years ago. When he passed, I was a month away from graduating first grade and in May I graduated from high school. I've been working my entire life to make him proud, although I know no matter what I do he would be happy. Throughout his life, my dad endured a lot, but no matter what happened to him he worked to come out better on the other side. He always managed to light up a room with his infectious smile or make a person's day with his inviting personality. He was well loved by everyone around him and while that love has continued past his lifetime, he hasn't received the memorial that is reflective of his time alive. When visiting his and my sister's graves with a friend, they remarked that his gravesite would not be noticed was it not for prior knowledge of him being there. That struck a nerve and broke my heart. I realized that he's had no physical marker for over 11 years and to any passing stranger his remarkable life is nothing but a patch of grass. Now that I am old enough to solve this problem, I've decided to start this LFEBridge. Over the years, there has been controversy as to how to memorialize him properly, so along with donations and shares, I am open to suggestions as to how his headstone should look/say. I want to ensure everyone who cared for him can contribute to his physical memorial. After getting a quote from a local headstone designer, a headstone would be $2,000 minimum, however, if the headstone itself ends up being less than our goal, the rest of the money will go to flowers and other markers to put out by his and my sister Ivy's grave. Thank you so much for reading, Mia Triplett
