In July 2025, Harley Wright (he will then be 15) will be travelling to Cambodia for four weeks with the company Camps International - through his high school. This is a brief explanation of what projects he will be doing whilst he is out there. "During their time in the country your child will be working on a variety of different community, wildlife and environmental projects. We cannot guarantee exactly what projects they will work on, as this will depend on the most pressing needs at the time they travel, however, examples of our ongoing projects include constructing school classrooms, supplying drinking water, terrestrial and marine wildlife conservation, tree-planting and microfinance initiatives." If you know Harley, you will know how much this will mean to him. To give him the opportunity to improve a struggling country will be life-changing for him. If you don't know Harley, you should! He is the most kind hearted, nature-loving, environmentally friendly, animal-focused person you will ever meet, ever!! As a family, we often say, 'everyone needs a Harley in their life.' To go on this trip, Harley needs to prove that he has fundraised. The total cost is £4700. He has a few up and coming fundraising ideas, the first being: Walking 5 miles a day for a 100 days (starting 1st August, his whole family will be partaking in this, including his 8-year-old brother). In spring 2024, the whole family will be climbing Snowdon. Cake sales Litter picking Beach cleans and more! His target is £1700, the rest will be covered by parents.
