Yesterday July 15 2024 the unthinkable happened when a flood hit my family’s farmlands. Thankfully all the animals were rescued and are in temporary housing. Everything is gone. There little to no fencing left around the pastures to hold the cows. The coop for the chickens had water rushing through it and damaged the structure. The goats we literally swimming whilst trapped in there shelter due to rising water. My parents spent ALL of there time pouring our heart and souls into this farm. They host events, parties, photoshoots and more. They bring happiness to hundreds of family’s a year. Without this farm they cant continue any of those things. While we understand these material things arent the most important, they helped us grow and spread joy with our community and local families. Were asking for any and all help we can get in reviving our farm. Our top priority is fixing all the fencing and pens so that our animals can feel a bit of normalcy while we continue clean up on the farm. My parents have spent there entire lives savings on making there dreams come true, and I am begging you to not let that all go to waste. If you have any old fencing, temporary or permanent, that you would be willing to donate it can be dropped off at HDF in Boomer or we can arrange pick up. Thank you to all our local supporters. We will need help and healing in the weeks to come.
