I am Ryan, Hailey Masters uncle. My niece Hailey is such a beautiful, bubbly soul. She is the light of my sister Shannon’s world, the joy of her father Shane as their only daughter. On Saturday, July 15,2024 Hailey experienced a medical emergency while at home recovering from a broken ankle. Luckily her mother Shannon was at home about to leave for work and quickly jumped to Hailey’s aid upon hearing her. EMS was called and responded to their home. Hailey was transported to the hospital where her life was saved by an incredible ER hospital staff. Hailey would be transferred to ICU, but was not out of the woods. Hailey continued to suffer medical emergencies while in the ICU with her parents by her side all the way, all three experiencing the hardest moment of their lives. Shannon never once lost her faith despite enduring the scariest event that would cause her more fear than she was ever prepared for. Sunday morning during the very early morning hours, Hailey suffered significant medical emergencies which ultimately took her young life unexpectedly and gained her heavenly wings. Hailey was 26 years old and was the sunshine of her family. Loved unconditionally by her parents, Shane and Shannon, as well as her three brothers, Austin, Tanner, and Waylon as well as her aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, and so many friends and acquaintances. Hailey had such a deep love of family, friends, and life. She loved experiencing all she could and was so connected to everyone she met. Her smile and laugh was infectious and beyond comparison. She is such a beautiful, sweet soul and cared for others beyond her own needs. Through this hard, unexpected time and emotional pain, the family is struggling to make sense of what has happened and will continue to be drained physically and emotionally while having to deal with funeral, memorial, and medical expenses on top of the demands of everyday life.
