The past 2 years have been a rollercoaster for us. If you have been with us from the very beginning, you’ll know the journey we have been through. In the blink of an eye, we went from having kennels and the space to assess, train and home our dogs to having to start from scratch a little over a year ago. Due to differences with people we thought we trusted around the approach and the welfare of our dogs, we fled a horrible situation; taking all the dogs we could with no idea what was next for us. Through the support and encouragement of you all we started Girls with Dogs from scratch, running from our homes and creating an amazing foster network. Going from a running a rescue from a facility to our homes has been incredibly hard, mentally and financially and there’s been many times we didn’t think we could continue with our rescue. We were truly at our breaking point but an amazing opportunity to run our OWN facility again has been handed to us We viewed the kennels and land today and it’s everything we could ever dream of to keep on saving lives The kennels has been closed for quite some time and requires some extreme TLC but it’s PERFECT! We’re so desperate to make this work and continue our dream and the work we do ✨❤️Over the last week we have been at the property everyday fixing and cleaning up we could with the help of some wonderful volunteers. There’s things around the facility that we need the professionals for! We need replace some kennel doors, building doors, new gates, fencing, build secure paddocks and a few more structural repairs! We need to be able to for the materials and peoples time. As you know we save dogs from abroad, from the streets and kill shelters. Romania in particular. We have a number of dogs we saved a few months ago in safe fosters awaiting their turn to join us here in the UK. Now we have the space for them to join us we urgently want to get them here to us ❤️Some of those still need to be prepped ready to travel and transport funds raised We’re hoping we can raise some money for that too!! So we can finally have all our dogs together ❤️We ask you to support us in anyway you can, this dream can only become a reality with your support!
